CQ CQ CQ — calling all operators
Your logbook,
in your pocket.
Ham Logger is the fast, no-fuss QSO logger built for how hams actually operate — at the home shack, on a summit, or deep in a park with zero bars. Log it now, sort it out later.

QSOI can communicate with…
Log a contact in seconds, not minutes
One screen captures the whole exchange — callsign, frequency, mode, reports, gridsquare — with smart defaults carried over from your last QSO. Pileups don't wait, and neither should your logger.
- Dupe checking warns you before you work the same station twice
- Local or UTC time, your choice
- POTA, SOTA, IOTA, WWFF, Field Day and Winter Field Day exchanges built in — references resolve to real park and summit names as you type
- Grab your gridsquare from GPS with one tap

QRZWho is calling me?
Know who's on the other end
Built-in US callsign lookup pulls the operator's name, license class and status, address, and gridsquare — so you can fill your log and address your QSL card without leaving the app.
- FCC license data at your fingertips
- One tap adds the operator's name or gridsquare to your QSO
- License class, status, and expiration at a glance

QTHMy location is…
See how far your signal reaches
Every gridsquare you work lands on the map. Watch it fill in from coast to coast — and keep going when the bands open to DX.
- Heat map of every Maidenhead gridsquare in your log
- Filter by 2-, 4-, or 6-character grid precision
- Your QTH pinned front and center

QSBYour signals are fading… or climbing
Watch your log tell a story
Trends, streaks, most-used bands and modes, unique gridsquares, contest tallies — your operating habits, graphed. A GitHub-style activity row makes every day on the air count.
- QSO trends over 7 days, 30 days, or any period you pick
- Band, mode, and contest breakdowns
- Weekly summary right on the home screen

FAQFrequently worked questions
Before you key up
- Is Ham Logger free?
- Yes. Ham Logger is free to download and use, supported by ads. Unlimited QSOs, multiple logbooks, and full ADIF import & export are all included for free. An optional Premium subscription removes the ads and unlocks power tools like callsign lookup, contest reference search and name resolution, the QSO gridsquare map, extended statistics date ranges, dupe checking, and dark & dynamic themes.
- What platforms does Ham Logger run on?
- Ham Logger is available for Android (6.0 and up) on Google Play and for iPhone and iPad on the Apple App Store.
- Does Ham Logger support POTA and SOTA activations?
- Yes. Parks on the Air (POTA), Summits on the Air (SOTA), Islands on the Air (IOTA), World Wide Flora & Fauna (WWFF), ARRL Field Day, and Winter Field Day exchanges are all built in. Reference numbers are validated and resolve to real park, summit, and island names as you type.
- Can I import and export my logs as ADIF?
- Yes. Ham Logger supports full ADIF import and export, so you can move logbooks between Ham Logger, Logbook of The World (LoTW), QRZ, eQSL, and desktop logging software.
- Does Ham Logger work offline?
- Yes. Logging works entirely offline — no account or internet connection is required to record QSOs, which makes it well suited to summits, parks, and Field Day sites with no coverage. Online features like callsign lookup need a connection.
- How does callsign lookup work?
- Ham Logger includes a built-in United States callsign lookup backed by FCC license data. Looking up a callsign shows the operator's name, license class and status, address, coordinates, and Maidenhead gridsquare, and you can add the name or gridsquare to your QSO with one tap.
- Can I keep separate logbooks?
- Yes. You can create multiple logbooks — for example home, portable, contest, or club stations — each with its own callsign, gridsquare, exchange fields, and settings, including multi-operator support.
- Can I use Ham Logger for CB radio or shortwave listening?
- Yes. A dedicated CB radio mode accepts channel numbers instead of frequencies, and unlicensed shortwave listeners (SWLs) can log the stations they hear.
- Who makes Ham Logger?
- Ham Logger is built by BioRust Studios, an independent app studio, and is developed by Karson Odette, KA4SON — a licensed ham who uses the app on the air.
